Blair Atholl (R.Michie) Aviemore (R.Michie) By Arthur's Seat, Edinburgh (R.Michie)

Season - All Year
Locations - Varies depending on interest

From sea to river and from land to air, there’s a wealth of
opportunities for the budding photographer to capture the essence of Scotland and all that makes it unique.

Whatever your interest, be it country or town scapes, wildlife, architecture, historic sites or even the local ‘folk,’ we are confident you will  find something in the North East of Scotland to inspire you. Simple tell us your interest and we will take you there.

You don’t even need a technical camera to capture a good image. All you require is a compact (disposable will do) or a digital camera, and lots of enthusiasm for spotting the perfect moment. If you are a complete beginner, we can help to get you started by showing you the basics of capturing a good image, including composition, subject matter, traditional to abstract styles, film and lighting. For the experts, we will take you to the best spots, but leave the creative side to you.

Here’s a few suggested routes which might inspire you and which we can organize on your behalf.

Each route can include a stop over in local town or scenic spot for tea/coffee and a snack. Lunch can also be organized, either as a  luxury picnic hamper or provided by a local hotel en route.
