STAGS & HENS
Day and weekend parties in Scotland

Experience a Stag or Hen party with a difference! Our package below is perfect for day or a long-weekend breaks, but it can also be tailored to suit the interests of you and your guests.

Day 1: Experience a day of Country Sports in Scotland

You will be welcomed by the laird at the estate house with a complimentary coffee or tea and a brief over view of the day ahead.

Clay Pigeon Shooting - Try your hand at the challenging sport of ‘English Sporting clays’. Starting with a safety briefing and one-to-one clay shooting pigeon lesson, each guest will then have a chance to shoot individually and then in team pairs. To add to the challenge and camaraderie of the day, we keep a score card for each guest and team so you can return home with a record to prove you shot a 'springing teal', 'settling pigeon' or 'driven grouse'- each type depending on how the clay moves through the air. This package includes 40 clays with instruction and use of all equipment.

Quad Biking - Then jump aboard your quad bike for an adrenaline packed race around the estate tracks! Quad Bikes were once largely used by farmers to move around on the rough terrain, however it is has become a very popular recreational sport. Quads are very easy to control and ride since they are automatically geared and have no clutch. After a safety and instruction session, in no time at all you'll be driving around the specially set out track, and then racing in and out of the trees in a designated wooded area on the estate. There's a range of different turns and parts to it so there's lots of opportunities to perfect your quad racing technique.

Off-road Driving - This is followed by off road driving around the estate tracks in the land rover 4x4s. Your instructor will give you a lesson on the technique of driving the vehicles over different terrain, then it will be your turn to take over the wheel and really test your driving ability around designated tracks on the estate.

Enjoy a two course lunch of Scottish and homemade fare which includes a glass of red or white wine and a complementary dram of local whisky. Set by the trout ponds or in the estate house (weather depending!) it's the perfect location to while away the afternoon.

Archery - After a relaxing lunch, it's over to our archers to explain the technique of firing a bow and arrow. You will be aiming for marked targets which are backed up with straw bails and within no time at all you'll be taking aim in true Robin hood style...but with slightly less requirement for green tights and feathers in your hat!

Complementary refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

Gourmet Dining - A Taste of Scotland

Enjoy dining in one of our selected hotels or restaurants, each with their own style and interpretation of the flavours and products of Scotland.

For the lads, why not make it an extra special evening by dining in Scottish national dress? We can arrange kilt hire for all the gents in your party and it’s without doubt the perfect surprise for hosts to arrange on behalf of their guests. It also makes for a most enjoyable and memorable evening.

We strive to find the best accommodation for our clients, from award winning hotels and estate lodges hidden deep in the glens, to historic castles and cosy B&Bs. Day 2: White Water Rafting

Enjoy a thrilling day rafting on the UK 's best White Water Rafting run - the Findhorn.

Hang on for an adrenaline rush through grade 3-4+ rapids and some of the most stunning scenery and rocky gorges in the highlands.  There is a great variety of wildlife and, if you're lucky, you may even see one of the Otters that are fairly illusive during the day, but can be seen from time to time.

All equipment is provided such as wetsuits and safety equipment and at all times you will be accompanied by experienced and well qualified guides. Packed lunch can also be arranged and transport for larger groups, if needed, at a small additional cost.

This experience includes a full day rafting. Normally groups meet at 10am in Aviemore, travel for about 30minutes to the river, and be back in Aviemore around 4pm. No prior experience is required however these trips will be exciting even for those who have Rafted before.

Whatever your interests, be it country sporting pursuits, exploring the rugged wilderness, or simply searching for peace and quiet, we can tailor a holiday in Scotland to suit the requirements of your party, ensuring there is something for everyone and that you return home dreaming of your days in the Scottish countryside.
