They can get full details from their local police firearms licensing department. But be warned, this can be a lengthy procedure and you must apply several months in advance.

Estate stalkers may examine shooting Tenants' Firearms Certificates before allowing Clients to shoot. If shooting Clients do not have correctly completed Firearms Certificates, shooting will not be permitted.

6. Game shooting and stalking will only be undertaken if accompanied by and under the supervision of a the Provider and/or his staff e.g. a Gamekeeper.
7. For stalking it may be the Providers policy to include a number of bad heads as well as some better heads. The selection and number of deer to be killed by a Client in any one day will be at the sole discretion of the Provider.
8. No firearms may be loaded without the express permission of the accompanying Provider e.g. stalker/gamekeeper. 11. No shot will be fired unless there is a safe background into which the bullet may fall in the event of a miss or the bullet passing through a target.
12. No loaded firearms are permitted in any vehicle or building. Any person entering a vehicle with a firearm must demonstrate to the driver that the firearm is fully unloaded (both the magazine and the breech must be empty).
13. Humane policy determines that no shot will be fired at a running deer.
14. Identification of deer will always be by binoculars. The rifle scope will not be used for this purpose.

16. Damaged venison cannot be passed into the human food chain and game dealers can no longer accept badly shot carcasses. The utmost care, accuracy and often patience is required by all who stalk to achieve a shot which causes only modest damage to rib or neck meats. If a carcass is damaged a penalty charge may be applied.
17. In the event of a deer being wounded, the Provider will follow the animal and, if found, kill it. Should this happen a penalty charge may be applied.
18. Grouse Shooting - Clients should be aware that the grouse population is natural and can not be supplemented. Great care and effort is placed on the management of their habitat to sustain populations for future seasons. However grouse numbers are very unpredictable due to 5 yearly population cycles, poor weather and pests such as heather beetle destroying their habitat. Even on the day of the shoot, bad weather - particularly fog - may delay the start of the day or end in a cancellation. In the event of a shoot regretfully being cancelled, any previous payments for the grouse shooting will be refunded. However, Country Ways Sportings can not take responsibility for other costs incurred by Clients e.g. flights, hotels and other activities. We strongly suggest that clients arrange their own insurance to cover any possible cancellations.
